  • Join GAPA for one year and attend the conference after May 12, 2025.

  • Must be a current PA Faculty member employed by a PA School on the date of the conference.
    27 hours of CME/CE plus 3 free workshops to include EKG, Upper Extremity X-rays... How to Interpret on the Spot, and Thyroid Nodules: Risk Stratification and Nodule Selection for FNA based on Availability.
  • Attend the conference on Thursday only. This includes lectures only. Workshops are separate.
  • During this workshop the participants will learn advanced suturing techniques, when to use them, and which suture to utilize. Suturing kit is a separate cost of $25. 4 hours of additional CME.

    1) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have learned at least three advanced suturing techniques that can be used in several different scenarios.

    2) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will know different sutures and which to utilize according to the clinical situation.

    3) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will know which suturing technique to use based on location, orientation, and appearance of the wound being repaired.
  • Learn to evaluate the upper extremity for potential injury and how to inject the corresponding joints if appropriate. 4 hours of additional CME. A certificate of completion is included.

    1) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have a thorough understanding of the upper extremity function and abilities.

    2) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have the knowledge and practice to inject the corresponding joints.

    3) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have understanding of appropriate scenarios that support joint injections.
  • one full kit with case to use during suturing workshop.
  • Attend the conference on Friday only. This includes lectures only. Workshops are separate.
  • Participants will learn how to suture basic incisions and lacerations. They will also understand why sutures are removed at various times based on type of suture and location. Suturing kit is a separate fee of $20.

    1) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have learned at least three basic suturing techniques that can be used in several different scenarios.

    2) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will know different sutures and why to use one versus another.

    3) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will know which suturing technique to use based on location and appearance of the wound being repaired.
  • Learn to evaluate lower extremities and how/when to inject the corresponding joints. 4 hours of additional CME. Includes a certificate of completion.

    1) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have a thorough understanding of the lower extremity function and abilities.

    2) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have the knowledge and practice to inject the corresponding joints.

    3) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have understanding of appropriate scenarios that support joint injections.
  • This workshop will explore essential business concepts such as filing for an LLC and
    navigating the differences between working as a 1099 contractor and a W-2 employee.
    You’ll gain practical insights into the business side of clinical practice—and discover
    how applying these strategies can enhance your career, open doors to entrepreneurial
    opportunities, and position you for leadership within your organization.
  • Attend the conference on Saturday only. This includes lectures only. Workshops are separate.
  • Learn how to apply casts and splints, when each is appropriate, and how to remove them safely. 3 hours of additional CME.

    1) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have a thorough understanding of casting and splinting techniques.

    2) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have the knowledge to determine whether a cast of splint is appropriate given the situation.

    3) At the conclusion of this workshop, each participant will have remove casts and splints safely.
